Presenting Science

Characterization of Solid Catalysts

Presenting scientific research in an efficient way requires a crystal clear message tailored to a specific audience. This is equally true for talks and posters at conferences, and for scientific publications. In this course the lecturers go through the principles of presentations, by discussing the common mistakes presenters and authors often make, and by giving recommendations for effective and successful presentation of their work, in spoken or written form.
Both lecturers have a long experience as conference organizers and as Editors of the Journal of Catalysis. The course is intended for junior scientists (PhD students and Postdocs) in the field of catalysis and related fields, such as chemical reactor engineering and surface science.

More information on presenting science in talks, posters and articles is freely available on our SynCat Ac@demy website for scientific leadership.
